The Marquand

The Marquand, a New York City landmark built in 1913 by Herbert Lucas in Beaux-Arts Revival Style, was acquired by HFZ and Vornado in 2011 to be repositioned as an ultra-luxury condominium. The 12-story, 105,000 square foot building, located on Madison Avenue and 68th Street along Central Park, features two separate wings and has been renewed to combine prewar elegance with contemporary amenities. Designed by Shelton, Mindel & Associates, the residences offer expansive living rooms up to sixty-five feet wide, natural light through bay windows, and wood-burning fireplaces. The building also features triplex penthouses with extensive outdoor space and high-end luxury retail on the ground floor.

505 West 19th Street, a ground-up development by HFZ and the Carlyle Group, is a unique building designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen. The 123,000 gross square foot structure consists of 35 residences, including a townhouse, duplexes, penthouses, and one to four bedroom units, as well as three parking spaces and 10,000 square feet of retail space.

The building’s entrance lobby is located under the High Line Park, with two 10-story towers rising on either side.
